We beleive in Natural Farming
Our approach to natural farming is deeply inspired by the work of the great Japanese farmer, Masanobu Fukuoka, whose book, One Straw Revolution, serves as a guide to sustainable living and natural farming. We have a profound belief in the power of Nature. The earth, in its nurturing capacity, supports all forms of life. However, humans, driven by intelligence and scientific advancement, have unknowingly exploited and continue to exploit nature. The consequences of these actions are now being felt, affecting not only humanity but also countless other innocent living beings. Inspired by natural farmers and our trust in Nature’s wisdom, we remain committed to practicing natural farming that is free from plastics, chemicals, and any artificial, man-made interventions. Over the years, our farmlands have thrived in soil fertility, thanks to the natural balance maintained by weeds, unseen insects, and beneficial bacteria. Earthworms continue to till our soil, and we simply let them live, allowing nature to work without interference. It is truly remarkable to witness life nurturing life on our farmlands.

Our Journey into Farming
Driven by a vision and passion for farming, and guided by our deep belief in nature, we acquired farmland in 2020. Our land is nestled in a small village at the western foothills of the BR Hills Tiger Reserve, south of Karnataka, just 150 kilometers from Bangalore.
Our farm shares a border with the forest, which is rich in diverse flora and fauna. Each morning, we are greeted by the sight of deer, wild boars, rabbits, and peacocks, reminding us of the beauty and vitality of the natural world.
In harmony with this environment, we uphold our connection to nature through chemical-free, natural farming methods.
Barguru Gau Samvardhana Prathistana
A key objective of ours is the rearing, breeding, and development of indigenous Bargur breed cows. These cows are short, well-built, and sturdy, perfectly suited to our local climate. In Kannada, they are known as “Bettadha dhana,” meaning mountain cows.
Naturally inclined to travel long distances in search of fodder, Bargur cows thrive on natural grazing. Their milk is highly valued for its exceptional quality and is believed to have medicinal properties. Our herd of over 50 Bargur cows is central to our natural farming practices, helping sustain and enrich our ecosystem
Our Natural Farm Practices
Utilizing Cows for Ploughing: We use cows for ploughing lands that have not been tilled deeper than three inches.
Limited Organic Matter: We incorporate cow dung as a natural enhancer for soil fertility, using it sparingly.
Zero Chemicals: We strictly avoid the use of chemical fertilizers such as urea and DAP, ensuring a completely chemical-free environment.
Storage Practices: We utilize wood and glassware for storing our harvested crops, promoting natural preservation methods.
Cherish Nature, Farm naturally and build an inclusive ecosystem.
Our Commitment to Quality Produce
Our produce is rich in nutrients and pure in quality. We present it to consumers while striving to build effective “farm-to-table” logistics.
By providing healthy food, we aim to contribute to a better society.
How it Started

A Connection to Our Roots
We are working professionals in Bangalore, enjoying a decent standard of living, yet deeply rooted in traditional villages where our parents and grandparents practiced farming for their livelihoods.

Valuing Our Traditions
We cherish our traditions and seek a values-based education for our children, empowering them to create a responsible future. This begins with providing healthy food to nourish both their minds and bodies.

A Passion for Nature and Animals
Our love for animals and passion for nature, combined with our aspiration to provide healthy food, inspired us to pursue farming. This calling has been within us all along!

A Commitment to Natural Farming
The widespread use of chemicals in farming, increased reliance on plastics for food packaging, and the application of preservatives in food storage have contributed to rising health hazards in our society. In response, we decided to return to our roots and pursue natural farming. While the path we have chosen is challenging, we are committed to delivering on our promises.
